I really wish I could leave some comments anonymously – since I am am not allowed to do that, I’ll just have to live with the feeling that my comments, considering our familial relationship, may be considered by some to be biased. I am biased, of course, but I always make every effort to overcome that bias (well, most of the time anyway) and render an impartial judgment on your work.

Having said that, I must tell you that for a “first effort” you caught the brass ring. Your poem evokes powerful images, memories and emotions – put it on a poster, surround it with a collage of your photos, and I’ll buy it!

Thank you for your non-biased comment, bdcooper (whoever you are). I welcome all comments, non-biased and biased, from anyone who takes the time to comment. Of course, I can decline to post any comments I don’t happen to agree with. No checks and balances here! 🙂
