This one’s for Sue!

Thanks to Elizabeth for passing along this fun video—“If I Made a Commercial for Trader Joe’s.” For those of you who are not fortunate enough to have this unusual store in your neck of the woods—we are truly sorry that you are missing out. (But why did the singer leave out Pirate’s Booty white cheddar popcorn?—talk about “addictive as crack!”)

This is one of Sue’s favorite stores—she will drive an hour to Nashville from her home in Huntsville just to buy their lemon curd for her scones!

You are too funny Cindy. So diverse and ever spinning a tale. This is great!

Ahhhhh, yes! The guy has put my love for TJ’s into a song – be still my heart! And yes, I do drive an hour to Nashville to TJ’s and will be doing so next Thursday, February 11th. I started, with glee, making my grocery list last night! Shame on those of you who complain that your TJ’s is just too far to drive when it’s only 3 miles away or when it’s too crowded. Please!

Astonishingly original! The screen play’s writer, the song’s composer, the video’s director, the unseen shelf stockers and stackers and every person in the video, whether store employee or customer, should be nominated for every possible award, including grammies, oscars, whammies, wedgies, pudgies, funnies, most original, best of show, etc.

The store is a bit too distant from our location (931.44 miles) to justify the drive merely to go shopping, but if we are ever in proximity to Nashville we will definitely stop and shop (Sue, of course, would cheerfully drive the 931.44 miles!).

PeeEss: Note the two exclamation points in my comment—I was so overcome with emotion that I couldn’t restrain myself! (Oops, that makes three exclamation points—and counting!)
