Papaver Orientale ‘Turkenlouis’

16 05 2010

These fiery orange-red fringed poppy flowers, a Papaver hybrid, bloom in May and June on 30-36 inch tall stems and prefer full sun. The crepe-paper-like blooms measure 4-6 inches across and have a velvety black seed capsule in the center surrounded by dark purple stamens.
