This is Wisconsin Point, a pristine beach where Ojibwe go to pray and do ceremony. They own this site. They build altars and leave gifts at their hidden prayer places. There is a sacredness here that goes beyond the normal visitors observation. I always feel blessed when I walk this beach. The day we were there a high wind was intensely blowing and almost getting sand in our cameras and nipping at our legs.

We didn’t stay long. Met a scientist who was looking for agates. He does research with college students on the beautiful beach. I go and photograph edible plants.
