Is this an example of the Tree of Life? This plant is festooned with a host of little alien creatures with large hairy heads, no bodies and skinny little legs sporting orange shoes. If one fixes one’s gaze on the plant long enough, the little fellers seem to move. Some appear to be falling, so perhaps the hairy heads function as parachutes to slow their descent to the ground.

Nice shot—a truly unique plant.
