The weather man got it right on the nose this time. They predicted snow in the D.C. metropolitan area about 1:00 p.m. on Friday (it started at 12:45) and it’s still going this Saturday night. We have more than two feet of the white stuff at this point. Our area doesn’t usually get accumulation like this—the last time we had this much was in 2003. Usually we get 3-4 snowfalls ranging from 2-4 inches and it usually melts within a few days. I have a feeling this stuff will be around for weeks to come.
