Spring (Chinese tongue drum)

I traded in some of my accrued points (from selling lots of books) to 2nd and Charles (used books, music, and instruments chain) and bought this nifty Chinese tongue drum. It was love at first tap! This particular version came with a book of songs written in Chinese, with no instructions save for series of numbers, so I’m improvising. Here’s a little song I crafted this afternoon. I titled it, “Spring.” Such a meditative little instrument–I feel the relief from daily stress almost immediately! Click below to have a listen.
