What an amazing face! Who is he?
He’s my neighbor, dear friend, sometime photo assistant and a great test subject for portraits! He has such a unique look that photographer Joe McNally has called him out of an audience on two separate occasions for a “character” shoot! 🙂 He retired from the Army, then had a second career at the CIA (retiring early). He’s now footloose and fancy free—and photographing birds and nature every chance he gets. He and I also share a great photo studio with another friend, Anna. He’s also very interesting—fluent in French and Russian and has knowledge on just about any subject you throw at him. He’s a real Renaissance man!
I am a real fan of Michael’s blog posts and his photography, including insects, bald eagles, and flowers from your garden! These portraits are just marvelous, Cindy!!
Thank you so much (and sorry for the delinquent response)!
